LUWTEN - "Door" EP

This week, we’re crushing on Dutch indie-pop songstress LUWTEN and her brand new EP “DOOR”!! After the release of three promotional singles, “DOOR” provides us with five incredible tracks, each of which represents the work of a perfectionist who realises that everything is constantly changing. The singer/songwriter -- real name Tessa Douwstra -- blends electro-inspired dark-pop with organic instrumentation, field recordings and artificial sounds to create what she calls “abstract pop,” and what a wonderful work of art this results in. It’s stunning, it’s eerie, it’s in your face, and it’s the perfect soundtrack to these uncertain times. ​
