We’ve been craving more tunes from Culture Wars and they’ve delivered their newest release “Hunger” right on time!
Switching it up from their previous releases, “Hunger” is a more base and drum heavy song that’s backed by electric vocals and shimmering synths. Lyrically and sonically, it expresses the feelings after the end of a relationship when you’re trying to let go of those emotional ties. It’s explosive in the best way possible.
With this track and their upcoming EP teche, the band has had GRAMMY® Award winner Manny Marroquin by their side to aid them in mixing and putting the finishing touches. Their talent and Manny’s expertise are clearly a match made in heaven.
“This is music that makes us happy,” Alex leaves off. “We set out to make music that makes us happy and feed off the energy from each other, and hope that one day that energy is reciprocated."
With that being said, we can’t wait to hear how else Culture Wars uses their creative freedom. Rest assured, we’re ready to reciprocate the energy they bring!
