CLEWS I “Overluck”

Heating up for their forthcoming EP, Sydney’s sister duo CLEWS have announced their most recent single “Overluck”, a full of life rock anthem. Navigating their way into being real rock legends and finding their way into the hearts of many, CLEWS have combined exceptional vocals and high intensity soundscapes to prove themselves as a force. 

Embodying the strong, melodic vocals, and lush production which CLEWS are recognised for, “Overluck” ticks all the boxes for a rock song classic . Continuing to evoke a new sound and style after announcing a new era for the pair with their last sound, there is nothing more you could ask for in this track. 

“This song introduces the theme for the upcoming EP: being lucky in life but unlucky in love. Songwriting is like sharing my feelings with myself, and I didn't realise how worried I was about being alone until I wrote ‘Overluck’. I reflect on being happy where I am in my life but wondering if I'm missing something because I've never been in love. The chorus is a powerful mantra for me as a woman - a reminder that I've made the right choices in my life and always have the power to choose my path. I am the architect of my happiness and pleasure, I don't have to be with anyone I don't want to be with. I will always choose a real spark over the fear of being on my own,“ said CLEWS.
