This week we're crushing on Swedish psych pop duo AOP, a new project of Dungen's Mattias Gustavsson and his musical partner Martin Fogelström.  AOP stands for Adult Oriented Pop and that's exactly what they deliver here, sweet indie pop with great harmonies and a sort of 70's yacht rock vibe in the chorus, there's even some cowbell!  About this track, the band say “'A New Beginning' depicts the dysfunctional relationship between the human ‘civilization’ and nature, in the form of a conversation between two lovers way past their expiration date”. The full album is due out pretty soon on 29th March so only a week until we get to hear the rest, if this tune is anything to go by we reckon it's gonna be awesome!
