This week we’re crushing on Melbourne based artist will hyde, who has burst onto the low-fi pop scene with his debut single “easy for u.”. With crisp production, gorgeous vocals and lyrical authenticity on par with stars like Dominic Fike and Rex Orange County, the single is an addictively melodic and catchy pop hit. Not to mention, this guy has an absolutely killer aesthetic, and is super genuine.
“‘easy for u.’ is a song about giving more in a relationship than you’re getting back,” said Will. “Sometimes we run into things that we don’t know how to deal with so we mask it with alcohol, pills--anything we can do to try and run away from the past. It’s tough to be a part of a relationship where you are slowly watching a person fade, or losing a part of yourself, because of it."
