Melbourne's Time For Dreams (Tom Carlyon on guitar /beats and Amanda Roff on vocals/ bass) are back and we are crushing on their new tune "You've Got a Friend" hard this week. It's cold outside (right now in Australia) and this song just seethes a warmth and beauty that sits you down infront of a fire and wraps you in velvet. According to Amanda from the band this tune was "named as a homage to Carole King and written during a time of depression, loneliness and general disillusionment with the human race. A tiny tale of kindness and friendship in a world of violence and apathy. Imagine getting into a fight on the way home from the pub and being rescued by a sinister hermit. You can't decide if they are a saint or a serial killer." We're not sure what the band has planned this year if there's an album coming but you should follow them (and their label). Cannot wait to hear more!
