Today we're crushing on 6 piece (!) London based dance band Stats and their new tune "There Is A Story I Tell About My Life", like a mad cross between classic sounds of Human League, Dead or Alive, Talking Heads or The Pet Shop Boys, mixed with the kind fidgety banging electro-funk you've heard before from artists like Plump DJs and Krafty Kuts, yet this is entirely new.  Founder and front man Ed Seed (who is also in touring bands for Dua Lipa and La Roux) says the tune is about  the  stories  we  tell  ourselves  about  ourselves  -  and  what  happens  when  they  break  down. No surprises really why it's perfect for your 3am weekend dancefloor! We can't wait to check out the rest of Stats new stuff (hint: there's another couple tracks already out there, search and you will find them), their full album "Other  People’s  Lives" is due out 15th Feb 2019, nicely timed for us to boogie down to in the Aussie summer.
