​Crushing on Sloan Peterson today (artist name of 24 year old Sydneysider Joannah Jackson). She has an interesting story with roots in Sydney’s South Coast DIY art scene, spending years recording music through her laptop & filming homemade music videos. Some may know her from her previous band called Black Zeros. Returning with this project, she has found a rather timeless sound of her own, described as a love child of 50’s guitar pop and modern garage rock.
