This week we have a mega-crush on Sydney-based electro-pop soul artist Sam J and her new tune "Friends". Described as a "sensual and emotional tune [that] encapsulates the feeling of one-sided romance and the disappointment that comes with expectations not quite meeting reality but also recognising one’s self-worth and walking away from a toxic situation." If you've been through any of those feelings lately this tune is going to put you in the right head space! We didn't know much about Sam until now but digging a little deeper we've found she released a whole record in 2017 that is also well worth checking out if you like this. Anyone who's a fan of electronic, pop'n'b like AlunaGeorge or Dua Lipa needs to check Sam J immediately. Can't wait to hear more!
