​Roya is a band from Brooklyn NYC, with band members who've previously been part of Habibi, The Clean, Grooms, The Lids, Jay Reatard and Golden Triangle, you just know this is gonna be good before you listen. And it totally is. Straight up post punk indie garage goodness. These are our favourtie kinds of records that Burger Records put out. Roya have played gigs alongside Fat White Family, Black Lips, Curtis Harding, King Tuff & Arto Lindsay to name a few, it's almost surprising we hadn't already heard of them.. but then we don't live in New York, we just get our crush on over the interwebs. Their debut record comes out June 2nd and we're super keen to hear what comes next!
