RACKETT - Crush

This week, we are crushing incredibly hard on Sydney-based RACKETT's appropriately-titled “Crush”!! Packed to the rafters with sweet, poppy goodness, this electro-pop track explores the enveloping feeling of having an unrequited crush. The vocoder vocals and over-the-top production definitely wouldn’t feel out of place on a Charli XCX record, so it should come as no surprise that RACKETT lists Charli’s groundbreaking Pop 2 album as inspo for this fabulous tune. “Combining my love of 90 dance & pop music and Dave [Hammer]’s future sounding production, the track is both nostalgic and futuristic at once,” says RACKETT. We’re absolutely in love, and we’re so excited to see what the star has in store for us this year!
