This week we’re crushing on Kiama based indie rock group Pacific Avenue, and their latest release “Strawberry Skies,” an EP full of catchy, edgy, surf rock tunes that make gentle head-banging simply irresistible. The lead single “Something Good” sets the tone of the album — it's just plain GOOD music. You can definitely hear influences of the band’s hometown of Kiama, with surf-rock influences coming through in their music. Pacific Avenue are the love child of The Vanns and Hockey Dad, delivering pure psychedelic guitar goodness, with a touch of Australian charm that you can’t help but crush on. Having played alongside Ocean Alley, The Wombats, Crooked Colours and San Cisco, these boys are only going to get bigger. Jump on the bandwagon and watch the boys play “Something Good” and the rest on their upcoming national tour (tickets available here)!
