This week we’re crushing on young new face OXLEE, and his latest R’n’B-pop single “Traction”. With production elements influenced by Tobi Lou and Trinidad Cardona, and vocals that have been compared to Justin Bieber and Ruel, “Traction” is infused with OXLEE’s love of K-pop, and combines an epic arrangement of R&B-pop with a melodic bassline that adds a funky edge. 

Developing his passion for music at just 10 years old, OXLEE is a multi-instrumentalist and a talented songwriter. Delving into the realms of soul, alternative pop, and R’n’B, the young artist performed for several years before the release of his debut single “I Wouldn’t Change”. His most recent single “I Don’t Get You”, released in July, has been praised on triple j Unearthed and received 20’000 views on YouTube in just one short month.
