This week we have a crush on the dynamic latest single from MORGXN, a chanting mantra “PORCELAIN”. With high spirit and great vigour, MORGXN is an untamed force in this track, commanding his audience with his anthemic style.

“PORCELAIN” is based on the Japanese art form Kintsugi, the process of re-inventing broken pottery by fusing it back to life with gold. MORGXN is drawing comparison to the strength and value of things and people who have fallen apart but are rebuilding themselves - true heros.

“I grew up thinking superman was the ideal superhero, but I realized how flawed it is to look up to someone who is literally perfect and indestructible,” said MORGXN. “To me - a hero is someone who might break but shows up anyways. There's also this Japanese process known as Kintsugi. As a philosophy, it treats breakage and repair as part of the history of an object, rather than something to disguise."

“PORCELAIN” is alluding to MORGXN’s upcoming album “Meridian: Vol 1” expected to be released later this month.
