We're crushing on Josh Rouse's new single "Salton Sea" this week. If you've listened to Josh's music before you're going to dig this, he is in great form right now! To our ears this tune is kinda kraut-rock inspired, definitely a nod to 1980's dark new wave. Described as "a driving, ominous track that features a unique blend of electronic and organic elements" Rouse’s smooth, warm vocals drift above in a way we haven't enjoyed so much since listening to Erlend Øye in Whitest Boy Alive. Josh has a full album called "Love in the Modern Age" out in about a month, can't wait to check it out! For now, enjoy "Salton Sea" below.
