IVEY "ALWAYS"

Big crush on Gold Coast band Ivey and their killer new tune "Always" this week. For anyone unfamiliar, the band has been around since 2013 and consists of brothers Lachlan and Matthew McGuffie, Dante Martin and lead singer Millie Perks (who could very well be Australia's next Sia to our ears!). They describe this awesome tune as "the product of taking our time. We wanted to make sure everything sounded perfect, that each individual layer of the track was precise, and we did just that. It’s danceable, poppy, relatable and a bit of a fuck you song, we love it." The track was also mixed and mastered by Brisbane’s Konstantin Kersting (The Jungle Giants, Art Of Sleeping), another one of our fave QLDers and like you need another reason to check this out, the rad video below was directed by Lachlan from the band! They'll be on tour in July and August so check out their socials for dates, we can't wait to check em' out live!
