Indy Stanton I "Like Me"

​This week we have the sweet pop infused melodies of Indy Stanton’s brand new hit “Like Me” playing on repeat. Rich with captivating and witty lyrics that play on her past perception of self, Indy is using this pop track as a means of empowerment and release. 

“This single is something really new for me. I had an ex who told me I was a total psychopath; and I believed it.,” said Indy. “After we had broken up and I started dating again, I kept hearing her voice in my head telling me I was crazy and too messed up to be dating anyone. Suddenly, I had the idea that I needed to ‘warn’ anyone who was interested in me. I had to give them a total breakdown of what they would be signing up for.”

Indy Stanton began her music career when she started songwriting in high school and posting covers on Youtube and by the age of only 15, had already developed a crowd of adoring fans. Her work was heard by Eslev (producer at Attaboye Records), who quickly became eager to work with her full-time to record her latest single “Small Talk” and produce her 2019 album “The Candle Room”. Indy has since been developing her craft and collecting the streams on her debut album, which has its focus single “It’s Ok to Say Goodbye” sitting almost at 80,000 streams. ​
