Congrats - “Overthink” Feat. Kwasi

This week we have a crush on Melbourne’s newest pop prodigy Congrats and his latest single “Overthink” featuring Kwasi, and produced by ARIA Award nominee Konstantin Kersting (Mallrat, Tones & I, Jungle Giants). This track is prepping Congrats for his upcoming body of work, which we hear is huge.

Ben Stewart, the name who most will match as the frontman of Melbourne pop-punk band Slowly Slowly has taken on a new style and character in his latest solo project Congrats. Coming from a background in the hardcore scene, pop music is new territory for Stewart, but he is navigating his way oh so well. 

Incorporating instrumentation and electronic backing well known to pop music, Congrats combines his godly vocals and artistic lyricism to build his own pop practice. Similar sounding to pop masterminds Joji, Post Malone and The 1975, Congrats is personifying all of that while still remaining his own.
