We are just crushing on Bel’s latest track “Good News!” The Melbourne-based artist has started her year phenomenally with two dark-pop bops, “Better Than Me” and “Spectre”, and her newest song is certain to continue the momentum she’s already got going. “Good News” is highly reminiscent of a mix of BANKS’ “Waiting Game” and “Poltergeist”, blending soaring production with eerie, witchy vibes. Bel sings with elongated vocals as she longs to hear some “Good News”; the song sets the perfect scene for handling bad people, bad situations, bad anything. It feels timely for the current climate we’re in -- we could all definitely use some good news right now. But, until then, at least we have this great tune from Bel to keep us tied over. ​
